Actually I wanted to take a photo of our local pair of white storks which finally returned last week. But when I approached, one of them took off for an evening snack and the other one was getting ready for bed and I only saw the top of its head. I saw a roe deer very close to me though, that was awesome! But the quality of the zoom is so poor it looks like a damn filter.

Not sure if I'm going to show you guys.
So here's a dramatic #sunset instead.

#TrainTrackTuesday: Remember the #abandonedRailway track in the woods I showed you a couple of weeks ago? This photo is from the same line in a different part of #Biederitz. This 500m (0.3mi) #railroadBridge across the Elbe floodplain and the Ehle river has become a listed #bridge and even has its own Wikipedia page (in German). It was built in 1846 and large parts of it are still original. It was closed in 1998 and is now barricaded due to deterioration, but the bridge continues to be a prominent landmark in the area. You can spot it in the background of some of my sunset photos.
