Hey, so what's your favorite #opensource day planner and to-do app that syncs across devices and is trustworthy?
Looking for one. Habitica is like 90% there but doesn't have the appointment/scheduling aspect. Xd

I didn't get to sort out my #journal and #planners...I'm hoping for my head to stop hurting and fogging up so I can do this before Jan 1st hits us. Please.
I think the tidying made my sinuses suffer yesterday. Triggering more headaches. It has to be done though, dusting and vaccuuming is good in the long run.
Does anyone know of planner stickers that look like antique book ornamentation? Fleurons, manicules, guilloché patterns, numbers surrounded by wreaths, etc.
My Kinbor A6 planner arrived today. It's exactly the same size as the Hobonichi A6 English techo, so it fits in my old Hobo A6 cover. I did a fountain pen ink test, and it passed. Only one ink (Diamine Lilac Night) didn't work so well with it. All the other inks worked well with it. And the best part is that it only cost me about USD10. Compared to Hobonichi it's a good deal since you can't guarantee the new Tomoe River paper is fountain pen-friendly.
Not all the time, but frequently, I interact with coworkers across the country and a couple other countries. I scribbled this time zone cheat sheet at work. I made a mistake: we spring forward on the 9th.
To eliminate mistakes, I would like to learn more about the built-in calendar and calculator in emacs. Maybe it will be able to generate this list for me.
Here's my #introduction long overdue!
Hi! I'm a software engineer during the day and #music #math #planners #stationery nerd during after hours :D
My interests:
- I play the guitar, now I'm moving to playing the bass guitar.
- #emacs and #orgmode. #lisp is growing on me.
- #machinelearning and #jupyter in general
- #statistics
- Mostly #manga nowadays and some #anime. And then I started to learn Japanese as a result.
- #drawing
- Recently got into #lockpicking and #locksport. Tried my hand at #bugbounty in the beginning of last year.
- #cooking
- #fashion
- #chess
I'm a big fan of #irc and #rss feeds as well. I like using Matrix too btw.
Listening to the best #urban and #transport #planners and being delighted by the beautiful examples for redesigning street spaces, I have the gut feeling that these initiatives could become accelerators for #green #gentrification.
We need #data and sound #analyses (plus honesty) to make sure that interventions reach the right people and that everyone can benefit from urban #transition!

I watch a fair amount of YouTube videos on planners, and the rare planner videos put out by men are overwhelmingly efficiency themed, as if planners are “one weird trick” to “hacking” productivity. I hope more men acknowledge that the hobby can be enjoyable, not merely useful.
What a clever way to handle habit tracking! I love that it looks nice even on incomplete days.
In high school each student received a handbook which was also a day planner. Here’s the sticker page from mine. You can tell how little I used the organizational features.
I might post more pages to gawk at, but I have to be careful. For example, my student ID turned out to be my full unredacted Social Security Number!
So I am usually very picky about the planners I use, and I am loyal to one brand. But this year I simply could not resist the cover of this one...
PSA for Hobonichi planners:
Some Tomoe River paper that should not have gone through QA did, and was used for Hobonichi planners for 2025, so if you have one for next year, you might want to test the paper now to see if ink feathers and bleeds...

So I guess Trapper Keeper is simply... not going to make "desk size" planners anymore!?
I would've bought more of them last year if I had known they were going to be discontinued.
On paper, Argentine series #Planners seems innocuous enough : the world of party planners is not exactly the darkest setting out there. And yet, its first episode is gloomier than anticipated... with a hint of (annoying) hope.

Work stuff:
Hi. I'm a #programmer and general IT geek, who also has a love for #libraries. I was lucky enough to be able to merge these two loves and have spent the last few years creating new digital experiences in a #publicLibrary. I'm now working on #RPA development and improving user experiences through automation.
Me stuff:
I'm Mum to a fantastic teenager and adopted Mum to an opinionated #cat (soon to be two opinionated #cats). My interests include #journaling, #letterWriting, and all things #stationery - #planners, #washiTape, #stickers. I'm a #booknerd, so #reading is in there too. I relax by #gardening, #walking, and outings on my #eBike. There's usually music playing, quite often #TheCure. I play #Minecraft, on a Skyblock server at present.
