Hey folks. The car insurance and loan vultures are circling again for their respective pounds of flesh. Please help me keep them at bay while I get ready for a month or two of training for my new job. It's $220 insurance, $280 car loan, $500 or so total just for those. I also have other expenses including food to cover and once again my accounts are well into the red.

Any amount spare helps, it all adds up.

We had an emergency last night while cooking with our induction hob, when our battery box nearly caught fire as the interlink cables' connectors overheated and melted their insulation and burned into the tops of a couple of the batteries (not through to the inside though). I disconnected the batteries before the nasty smoke could turn to outright flames.

We finished our cooking on a camp fire.

We now have some new copper welding cable lugs on the 2AWG cables and power is back on.

We need some #Mutualaid to keep us out of overdraft trouble.

Our #roadsafety need for a #tyrechange on the #Vulpibus is getting critical. The #tyres the bus came with are from 2012, worn and developing cracks. They are #inflated to the 115psi they are supposed to have, but a #blowout is becoming a matter of when, not if. Since we would rather not end up stranded in a ditch, this is an ASAP #urgent call out for #mutualaid. It's gonna be about $1200 because at least the front 2 tyres have to be new. The back 4 can be used, though getting new is obviously better.
