#Enlightenment is #awakening to non-duality, seeing through the illusions of separation. It is realising that all distinctions — ‘self’ & other, birth & death, past & future — are empty constructs of the discriminating #mind. #Impermanence flows through all, revealing the oneness of all beings with #Nature. To #awaken is to live without barriers, moving in #harmony with the ever-changing present. #True seeing is boundless, #free from attachment, resting in the unity of all things.

How limited & inexperienced one must be not to realise that humanity is one. How deeply trapped in illusion is the #mind that divides people by culture or skin colour. To cling to such distinctions is to be bound by delusion, failing to see the unity beyond form. In #ZenBuddhism we come to realise that all barriers are illusions — #true #understanding sees no separation, only people. To #awaken is to let go of division & recognise the oneness that has always been.
