SnoopJ<p>I visited the <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/Dorchester" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Dorchester</span></a> Bike Kitchen for the first time this evening, several months after the 'Bike Mayor' Vivian Ortiz¹ encouraged me to participate during a conversation over a tube change during a <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://urbanists.social/@NeponsetGreenway" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>NeponsetGreenway</span></a></span> group ride.</p><p>I'd like to make myself a regular. I don't need to do that much wrenching on my own bike (and own most of what I need to do my own now), but if I can help others, that'd be a huge win. And rubbing shoulders with other cyclists is a big deal for building community. Another day of wasting my brain cells on guessing when next train was coming.

Fields corner is 2 stops away from the terminal stop of Ashmont. If a train going to Ashmont is approaching fields corner in 7 mins, it should have time to turn around and arrive in fields corner for alewife direction to maintain 12-15 mins headway. So I bet on it and fortunately I was right today.
