After careful consideration I came to the conclusion that it makes no sense to keep the session export/import feature, once the key backup export/import feature is in place.
After a long transition period no one came up with a use case which a session export/import covers that is not covered by just logging in on a new device and import the key backup.
If you have know a valid use case, please comment on this.
Otherwise the key backup export/import will superset it in the next version
@krille what about folks who don't want to use online backup?

@krille stopped using fluffychat for other reasons but even with key backup, we found the session import/export super useful
@krille i use key export/import from mature clients like fluffy to help others where online exchange doesn't work at all or not so good. For example for gomuks on old arm machines. It take ages if I don't import a backup. Element produces key backups I can't import at all. For me this feature is really necessary
@krille I've used https://github.com/cyphar/matrix-utils before to filter a session export down to a single room, allowing me to share room history with others. Would that still work?
