Generally: do have garter stitch mosaic knitting and normal garter stitch have the same row gauge?
I know, in the end I'll have to try it out myself, but I'd like to tap the hive mind on this. If there's no chance that this works together I just can send this idea sailing into the great sunset ...

@FanCityKnits I'd say yes, maybe slightly different. I don't think it is countable on a 10 cm swatch.
But it's a long time since my last mosaic knitting.
