There is so much to be enraged about it is paralyzing. The conference I was just at was international, and conversations about scientific censorship, the US brain drain, fear for the future of NIH were interwoven in to the usual discussions of new findings etc.
I don't think anyone was held up from entry, though one Romanian grad student was held and questioned for 20 minutes before being released.

Even I can't figure out our electorate. Elect TFG by a couple points and then turn around and elect a liberal justice by 10+ points. And I don't think this represents an outright rejection of TFG in what he has done so far.
My best guess is that Wisconsites are quite OK with liberal(ish) policies (protect reproductive rights, let schools do their thing, etc.) but can't stand to pull the lever for anyone with a "D" after their name or have any whiff of a minority about them. For being a northern state, Wisconsin remains incredibly racist.
I have to say that Biden probably would have carried Wisconsin had he been running again, simply because of his white maleness.
