The underside of two trees that have grown together. Photographed from top to bottom. The underside of a beech tree takes up almost the entire photo. It looks like a large leg with 4 spread claws that go into the ground. The claws are spread from left to right in the photo. Behind it, very close to it, is the trunk of the beech tree. The rough brown bark contrasts with the smooth gray bark of the beech tree. It looks like the beech tree is embracing the oak tree. Brown leaves surround it.

Photographed from the side, the same trees, but now a larger part is visible. In reality about 6 meters. You can now clearly see that the trees have grown against each other. A branch of the beech goes around the oak like a protective arm. The trees in the middle around it the forest, about three quarters is ground with leaves, the upper part green bushes and with blue sky through it.

Ein kahler Affenbrotbaum (Adansonia) steht in einem parkähnlichen Umfeld.
Der Stamm des Baums ist zylinderförmig und astlos. Oben verzweigt er sich in wenige kurze Äste, die sich jeweils in eben so wenige kurze Zweige aufteilen.
Im Hintergrund erkennt man Bambus und hohe Kiefern. Blauer Himmel.

A cheeky tree swallow perches on a budding twig in this early spring photograph. The swallow is facing to the left. Its dark eye gleams brightly amid the blue-green iridescence of its 'cap'. Below the line of the narrow bill, white feathers begin. Grey and white belly feathers are slightly fluffed, contrasting nicely with the slick look of the blue-green iridescence of the back and the dark greys and blacks of the wing and tail feathers. A thin shaft of sunlight shines on the dark, narrow wing tips between the tail feathers. The swallow is perched on a knobbly, grey apple-tree twig. A close look reveals that the twig's buds are just beginning to burgeon. The bright blue sky behind the swallow is completely free of clouds. The tone is cheerful.

Our magnolia is just showing off this year! Already had people stopping outside to take pictures of and with it (my fav being the elderly couple taking turns to pose in front of it with their Jack Russell, and then giggling together and waving when they saw me watching through the window).
