Another bag I made from a thrifted scarf.

It's so easy, it's almost self-explanatory. The ends with the fringe are cut off to make the bag, the middle part of the scarf is used for the handles.

I’m back from a mini-digital fast to show you guys the #commissions I mailed off! This is 1 of four!

Historically, I struggled with doing #amigurumi humans, but after the person gave me a reference sheet, I took inspiration from that and PS1 Cloud to create something to work with. This OC is supposed to be 6’5”, so I wanted him to look beefy!

Monsters have babies too.
Baby monsters are even harder to find than the elusive "baby" pigeon. Very few folks can say that they've seen them, let alone created their portraits. I have been lucky. As you might imagine, monster parents can be a bit protective. Mothers in particular. They consider us (humans) more than a bit strange and potentially dangerous. It took most of my free time, lots of monster "treats" and carefully followed Monster Etiquette to befriend just a few of them. Even then, I felt a bit nervous and on edge as I made sketches of their most beloved offspring. It is always a good idea to remind oneself that monsters are ultimately unpredictable creatures, and should be given proper respect at all times.

These four wee babies hide behind their mom's tentacles, peeking out to watch me as I create their portraits. One of them is too sleepy to pay much attention. Patient mom keeps a watchful eye on her brood as they scamper about.

Here are some ceramic ornaments I made for Spring, using a vintage cookie cutter my grandmother used to make Easter cookies with. Maybe immortalizing this cute but also classy rabbit shape?
