Kymberly<p>Trying to work out a gastritis diet that fits me… ‘cos from trial and error, it’s often opposite to the common advice. Milk helps. Carbonation helps. Not snacking helps. Herbal teas (of various types) make it worse. </p><p>Of course, the recommended diet would leave me with almost none of my normal foods - nothing acidic (orange juice, lemons, yuzu, tomatoes, vinegar, bah!), no wheat, no garlic or onion, no spice (heat), no salt… and the worst … no tea or coffee. 😳</p><p>For now, the biggest improvement is not taking the hefty iron tablet that cramps and ties knots in there for several days.</p><p>Admittedly, rice does sit more happily than wheat.</p><p><a href="https://old.mermaid.town/tags/gastritis" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>gastritis</span></a></p>
