Masha Gessen's text hits the nail on it's head: when masked police start making arbitrary arrests of minorities and put them in cages, we are living the "first they came for..." moment.

As an offspring of a victim of the Nazis and having grown up in the Soviet Union, Gessen knows what they are talking about.

This happens now in the US and, for now, to non-citizens (mostly at least...), but as noted, first they came for minorities, then it's your turn. And this can happen in #Finland, the EU or anywhere else if we don't work against it.

Another beautifull, but a cold spring morning. Birds singing, morning sun shining, wind blowing, animals roaming and no people in sight, is there anything better?

Just two days ago the weather was very warm, almost +17°C, but this morning it had dropped to -3°C and with the strong wind, felt like -8°C.
