I remember a tiny chainsaw conversation I had a while back with a few folks in Wales.
I won't link to you all as you'll get all the notifications.
Lidl UK have the same tiny chainsaw in stock from tomorrow, again, If it is anything like the one I bought last time, it is a really great little saw.
I use it far more than I do my larger DeWalt chainsaw, as it feels quicker to use and to cut, possibly due to a narrow chain and higher chain speed.
No link to the website as they only become dead links after a week.

Next "ole Mac", an Oleo-Mac 942 from 1997. This one is a trooper. Starts on the first pull, even in deep winter. The air filter is basically chicken fencing and somehow that works fine. Modern saws can choke on a dust mote, but this thing breathes saw chips and keeps going.
Got a clean-up and a new throttle cable, as the old had chafed through. Luckily some guy in Kaunas is stripping old saws and selling the parts for reasonable prices. New parts are no longer available.

More work on the old chainsaws I inherited.
Jon the Red (a Jonsered CS 2152) got some teeth. "Bark support" the parts diagram calls these. Jon says he can bark just fine without support. Cranky old saw.
Perhaps old saws are like old humans, they lose their teeth and you have to spend money to buy new ones.
Also noticed some incontinence. Need to find my box of o-rings, the fuel cap is leaking.
Finally, a good cleanup with the air nozzle.
