Pro Peace<p>Das BMZ bleibt als eigenständiges Ministerium erhalten, das Programm Demokratie Leben wird fortgeführt, zivilgesellschaftliches und bürgerschaftlices Engagement werden ausdrücklich wertgeschätzt. Das sind die aus unserer Sicht positiven Aspekte im Entwurf des Koalitionsvertrags von CDU, CSU und SPD. </p><p>Das große Aber: In der Sicherheits- und Friedenspolitik setzt die voraussichtlich neue Bundesregierung vor allem auf militärische Mittel. Und die Vorhaben für zivile Krisenprävention und Friedensförderung stehen unter Finanzierungsvorbehalt, ausgerechnet in Zeiten eines Rekordhochs gewaltsamer Konflikte und Kriege.
