Christopher Bauer :debian: :i3wm: :blobcatthinkingglare:<p>I'm crushed. The left half of my lily58 ergo mech keyboard started flaking out yesterday. Once plugged in it types 5tgb and then those keys go dead. I'm thinking a short.</p><p>It's a boardsource.xyz buy, not quite a year old. I'm going to reach out but any troubleshooting would be appreciated.</p><p><a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/mechanicalkeyboard" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>mechanicalkeyboard</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/ergomechkeyboards" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ergomechkeyboards</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/ergomechkeyboard" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ergomechkeyboard</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/SplitMechanicalKeyboard" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SplitMechanicalKeyboard</span></a></p>

Besoin d’un clavier ergo ET adapté à un travail de dev. pulsar<p>Wrapped up the 3D modelling and prints. Quite happy with it. Designed a tilted stand as well but still getting used to that and not even sure I want / need it. </p><p>Updated FW: <a href="https://github.com/pulsar256/sofle_choc_rp2040" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">github.com/pulsar256/sofle_cho</span><span class="invisible">c_rp2040</span></a><br>3D Printable Parts: <a href="https://www.printables.com/model/1168416-sofle-choc-case-travel-enclosure-and-tilt-stand" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">printables.com/model/1168416-s</span><span class="invisible">ofle-choc-case-travel-enclosure-and-tilt-stand</span></a></p><p><a href="https://mastodon.highteq.net/tags/mechanicalkeyboard" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>mechanicalkeyboard</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.highteq.net/tags/qmk" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>qmk</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.highteq.net/tags/SplitMechanicalKeyboard" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SplitMechanicalKeyboard</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.highteq.net/tags/diy_electronics" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>diy_electronics</span></a></p>
pulsar<p>Soldered up another Sofle keyboard and hacked it a bit to support ProMicro RP2040 microcotroller which has 512x the flash memory otherwise available on the Atmega ProMicro. Last firmware built for the latter chip left me 2 bytes of free flash space. That was "a bit" on the low side to add support for RGB LED indicators for layers and whatnot. Not to mention the OLED display actually doing something useful. </p><p><a href="https://github.com/pulsar256/sofle_choc_rp2040" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">github.com/pulsar256/sofle_cho</span><span class="invisible">c_rp2040</span></a> </p><p><a href="https://mastodon.highteq.net/tags/mechanicalkeyboard" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>mechanicalkeyboard</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.highteq.net/tags/dyi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>dyi</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.highteq.net/tags/SplitMechanicalKeyboard" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SplitMechanicalKeyboard</span></a></p>
Thure<p>I gave this Manibus a thorough try, got typing games, the works, but:</p><p>• I type C with my index finger, so C being positioned right under D was a surprising challenge, and my muscle memory is stubborn</p><p>• I’m expressive with the special punctuation macOS’s ABC Extended offers, a lot of which is accessed from keys to the right of the letters, but the Manibus doesn’t leave any room on the horizontal axis for them, and muscle memory blocked the way forward again</p><p>2/x</p><p><a href="https://hci.social/tags/splitMechanicalKeyboard" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>splitMechanicalKeyboard</span></a></p>
