The <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/gmail" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>gmail</span></a> interface seems to be languishing a bit and I'm thinking an actual client application might be nice.</p><p>Couple options I'm seeing are <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/postbox" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>postbox</span></a>, <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/mailbird" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>mailbird</span></a>, <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/mailspring" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>mailspring</span></a>, <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/sparkmail" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>sparkmail</span></a> and <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/thunderbird" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>thunderbird</span></a>.</p><p>I've used thunderbird on and off over the last 15-20 years.</p><p>I prefer <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/Open" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Open</span></a> Source (!=free) options but if a closed, commercial app soars about all others, I'm not philosophically entrenched.</p><p><a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/question" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>question</span></a> <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/help" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>help</span></a></p>
