I've been so honored and amazed by some incredible folks on the #Fediverse. This is what the #internet was supposed to be about. Building REAL #relationships. Not some drive by 5 seconds of fame.
I've felt more love in #Matrix and the Fediverse that I can't ever go back to the old way. This is worth fighting for. US! REAL PEOPLE.

I was just reading "Careless People", a #book from a former #Facebook #insider. And it made a good point that Facebook was used during #emergency situations for #humans to connect.

@taylorlorenz any chance of posting your videos to Peertube? You can host your own instance or get on one like TILVids. Once you have that set up you can just mirror your content so when you upload to YT it'll pull to Peertube. Please consider it. The Fediverse needs folks like yourself.

I've wanted an #electric #car since they were just #hybrid #vehicles. I could never justify one. Now I'm at the point where I'll almost certainly #purchase an electric car within the next 12 months.
I was honestly excited about #Tesla 5+ years ago. Now, after all the damage that man has done, I'm in the NEVER Tesla camp. I don't care how good they get, I will #NeverBuyTesla. #NeverTesla.

You're not beholden to other companies. Even #Floatplane can be #pressured by law suits, #BigTech, etc. Just because it hasn't doesn't mean it won't. Doubt they'd risk their #platform for 1 person.
