It’s part of a 1960s hospital (Queen Mother’s Maternity Hospital) which is currently being demolished. This round extension block at the rear was originally a visitors lounge, later used as an office and library. My kids were born in this hospital. My sister was born there in 1966. In this visitors lounge in 1966 my brother and I watched ‘Lost in Space’ on TV.
