With the way the Trump Administration lies about everything I wonder if the trains are really in such bad shape or if they just don't want trains anymore. (Of course considering how little the US has invested in trains, it's also quite possible they are dangerous.) Either way, you can be sure they're not getting fixed/replaced anytime soon. So sad.

@VirginiaHolloway @cthon1c @shansterable Trains are still manufactured in the USA, by Progress Rail, at least. Some of them are running in Australia.
