If one would do a psychological profile of the community and compare with a profile of the community, I bet one would see many similarities in personalities.

And these two online communities - even if they would eagerly deny it - have many things in common. Being isolated in their filter bubbles, for example.

Like the cult-like sectarian mentality and the fanatic agenda, where they cannot participate in a rational discussion beyond their own personal experiences.
